The purpose of The Arts Rock! logo design contest is to create a logo to convey
the branding of The Arts Rock!, a newly created organization which focuses
on creating importance of the arts in our community.
Who we are!
The Arts Rock! is a nonprofit arts organization which
cultivates the ongoing fundamental relationship between emerging artists and
the community by celebrating self-expression as a basic human right, essential
for the healthy growth of our youth and the community. We believe the arts
are a gift to be celebrated and shared by all. To help make this happen, it's
our objective to bring together visual arts, music, and pop culture under
one roof, through performances and exhibitions.
Our mission is to identify and nurture outstanding creative talent. Our goal is to instill the passion and skills needed by future generations of arts professionals, to enable them to contribute to the creative and scholarly activity that is essential to the vitality of our culture and society.
How can you participate?
The contest is open to anyone. To enter the contest
you will design a logo for The Arts Rock! based on the purpose, values and
guidelines provided. The submitted work that has been chosen for the finals
will be posted on our site and the visitors will be invited to vote on them.
The Arts Rock! team will make the final decision and the results will be announced
Friday March 2, 2006. Please submit your work along with this application
to: theartsrock@hotmail.com
• The logo: needs to be a minimum size
of 200px by 200px (please also provide a thumbnail of 50x50 )
• The logo should incorporate the idea of visual arts and performing
arts, and include the organization’s name.
Deadline for submissions:
The contest will run until Friday February 16, 2006,
mid-night (EST). At that time we will post the final logos to get feed back
from our members.
Rewards:
• Rewards will be given to the contest winner
at our Spring 07 – stand up and be heard Event
• Visibility and promotion on The Arts Rock! Websites
• Promotion in our newsletters
• reproduction on flyers, post card, and organization promotions
